Meet Leonidas, a striking young Warmblood × Friesian × Percheron prospect with an exciting sport-horse pedigree. He combines the athleticism and sport-horse qualities of Warmblood breeding with the presence, strength, and character of Friesian and Percheron blood.
Leonidas is currently being developed through groundwork and foundation training and has not yet been started under saddle. He is at an exciting stage where his potential is beginning to show, while there is still plenty of room for him to grow and develop.
Pedigree
Leonidas is 1/2 Warmblood, 1/4 Friesian, and 1/4 Percheron.
His sire is Sandro Hit, a well-known Oldenburg Warmblood stallion, while his dam, Ebony, is 1/2 Friesian and 1/2 Percheron.
This unique combination brings together three distinctive types of breeding, giving Leonidas an interesting foundation for a future sport or performance horse.
Training & Temperament
Leonidas is currently in groundwork and foundation training, where he is learning communication, responsiveness, focus, and good ground manners.
He has a moderate temperament, rated 3 out of 5, and is a very attentive horse who pays close attention to his handler and his surroundings.
Leonidas has not yet been started under saddle, making this an exciting opportunity to be involved in the next stage of his development and help shape his future training.
